ROOTED Grounding Tool

Holding something textured and cool is a form of sensory grounding, a technique therapists use to interrupt spiralling thoughts by anchoring attention in the body. ROOTED gives you that anchor in a form you can carry. It is a self-regulation tool, not a treatment, and it works best alongside whatever else already helps you.

The edges are rounded and the surface is brushed rather than sharp or polished, so it sits among keys without catching. As with any metal on a keyring, keep it out of the same pocket as your phone screen.

Machined from 316L stainless steel, the molybdenum-bearing grade used in marine hardware and body jewellery, then given a brushed finish. It resists corrosion and tarnish, so a wipe with a soft cloth is all it ever needs.
